more summer fun

after a few visits to the YMCA pool, daddy thought it would be more economical to buy me one. (actually, uncle pete and aunt connie paid for it) I swim in it every day! I've gotten quite good at swimming.

Nana & Grampa gave me some suitcases for when i need to run away from home and go to connecticut. they came pre-packed with lots of new clothes!!

this is one of the new dresses that Nana and Grampa got me.

Summertime

here's my summer update...we've been having the perfect summer so far. not too hot,
but hot enough for nice beach evenings...
...and mid morning visits to the YMCA

then some afternoon lounging

i've got some new silly faces

and i'm still accessorizing

and i had a fun slumber party with Joy.

San Diego Fair

we had some great fun at the san diego fairi stomped all the way across this bridge

netted some frogs...

tossed some balls...

caught some fish...
went on some rides...

hung out with some animals...and of course, ate lots of fried food

Party!!

mom and dad made up for blowing off my first birthday by spoiling me rotten this time around. we started off the weekend with a brand new bike! i had been talking about this bike since i saw it at the park. it's a princess bike!!
i also got a dora bounce house for my party. it absolutely frightened me at first. it was just too big!
but then mommy dragged me inside and i never wanted to come out.
i did some serious jumping...
wasn't there a calvin klein ad that looked something like this?
party hats? come on, mom. I'm two, not one!

now this is more like it.

i got so many presents!!!

i got a bit weirded out when people started yelling "happy birthday" at the top of their lungs to me.

finn came for a visit last week. we had fun running around the house

auntie joolie also visited from italy. she brought me my very own doraemon from japan!
mom and dad took me to carillo ranch to see the peacocks. i don't think we got along right away...

but we became friends quickly and had fun playing in the sand until she tried to eat my shovel
